Sixth grade enjoyed an action-packed, fun-filled two days at the Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingman's Ferry, PA.
Students explored a variety of habitats, including swamps, ponds, waterfalls, and forests within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. They tried their hands at orienteering using a map and compass, and strengthened their communication and critical thinking skills through a series of challenging team building activities. Scary storytelling around the campfire was a highlight of the trip. Even though there was no snow, the bright sunshine and smiling faces proved that the trip was a great success!
