During International Women's Month, Spanish students at the Upper School highlighted the impact of women -- primarily Latinas and African-American women -- in comprehensive video presentations.
Students researched the chosen woman, spoke about their claim to fame, how their work has impacted or inspired women in the US and beyond, and what they (the students) would do if they were in their chosen woman's shoes and/or how they would continue the work of their chosen person.
They submitted a written portion and then created videos using Loom or Zoom. In addition to research, they also had to use two grammatical tools we have been working on: the imperfect subjunctive and the conditional.
