Based on awards they received at the local Lehigh Valley Science and Engineering Fair on March 18, thirteen Moravian Academy Middle and Upper School students moved on to the Delaware Valley Science Fair this past week. This fair was held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA from April 2 to April 4 and is sponsored by Drexel University. Along with hundreds of other students from the larger regional area, Moravian Academy students’ projects were judged by subject area professionals.
Once again, our Moravian Academy students continue to make us proud! Two of our Upper School students are moving on to the INTEL Science and Engineering Fair in May; two of our Middle School students have been invited to apply for entry in the Broadcomm Masters Middle-Level Science Fair to be held later this year.
Isha Mohapatra ’19 was awarded the overall silver medal in the senior fair and will be moving on to the INTEL fair. Neil Deshmukh ’20 was awarded the overall gold medal in the junior fair and will also be moving on to the INTEL fair.
