Students Recognized at Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Juried Exhibition

Audrey Douglas '28, Claire Liu '28 and Kayla Maeding '28 accepted awards for their art submissions in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Juried Exhibition, the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens! 

Claire won one Gold Key Award, automatically qualifying her art to be entered into the National Juried Art Show. Makayla won one Silver Key Award and three Honorable Mentions, and Audrey won one Silver Key Award. Congratulations to all from Moravian Academy!

The exhibition recognizing regional awardees from participating schools in Northampton, Berks, and surrounding counties was held at Kutztown University on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Students' work remained on display until Saturday, March 3, 2024.

All three Moravian Academy students also take painting and drawing classes at the Baum School of Art with Ms. Rosemary Geseck.
