Fall Fundraiser and Family Fun Night

Throughout the night, families will have the opportunity to:

• Carve pumpkins, $40/family
• Purchase soft pretzels, hot dogs, water, juice, and more from the food stand 
• Pose for mini photo sessions with a professional photographer
• Share notes of thanks for our teachers and staff

All proceeds for this event will directly fund festive events for the students and teachers held throughout the school year. We thank you in advance for your support and are so excited to have you there! More details as well as health and safety information can be found using this link below.

As you are aware, safety is of the utmost importance to us at Swain and in order to have on-campus events, we kindly as that you follow the following protocols. Per the request of our Health & Safety Committee, this event will be a mandatory masked event. All participants must be masked to participate regardless of their vaccination status. In addition, there will be a no congregating regulation in place. We ask that all participants stay with your family cohort and NEVER leave your table or child unattended with pumpkin carving tools.   

Pumpkin Carving Table

With your donation of $40 per table (up to 6 family members/table), you will receive a table labeled with your family name, a carving pumpkin, a carving kit, a case for your carving tools, 1 battery operated tea light candle, hand sanitizer, plastic gloves, a garbage bag for waste, a black sharpie, water bottles for each family member, popcorn bag for each family member, and a food pre-order form. Any additional food orders will need to be filled out on the provided pre-order form, which will be collected and the food will be delivered to your table. Please be sure to bring cash for any food orders. Keep in mind that these pumpkins can win prizes for creativity, so feel free to bring additional carving tools, patterns or embellishments. 

Mini Professional Photo Session

With your donation of $55 per family, the photographer will take 5-6 photos per 10-minute mini-session and you will receive an emailed link where you will choose 3 of your favorite images, in which you will be able to download the digital image and will be given digital rights to those photos. (Families must arrive ready to have a photo session, there will be no moving of furniture or props!)

"Notes of Thanks" for Teachers and Staff

With your donation, you will receive 3 paper pumpkin notecards to write your teacher a note of appreciation or thanks. The notes will be hung around the school and subsequently given to your teachers. Let’s spread some love and thanks this season to our teachers and staff of Swain! These notes are available in the following denominations: $5.00 for 3 note cards, $10.00 for 6 notecards, $15.00 for 9 notecards. You do not need to be present at the fall festival to participate in this. These will be sent home in your child's backpack within 3 days of signing up. We ask that you return the notecards back to Monica Torres at the front desk.
