On February 1st, students in our Technology Student Association (TSA) club participated in their first competition at the Regional Conference that took place at Stroudsburg Junior High School.
Students took several weeks to prepare and were excited to put their hard work on display. Technology Student Association is a national organization of students engaged in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students compete in many different STEM-related events.
Huge congratulations to Mikail Jaffer ’22 and Divik Verma ’22 for taking first place in the Debating Technological Issues event! Our 3D animation team, composed of Michael Baron ’22, Yiyi Chen ’22, and Isabella Bartolacci ’22, took home 3rd place ribbons for their animation, illustrating the effects of light pollution on the environment. Sierra Smith ’23, Isabella Bartolacci ’22, and Michael Baron ’22, also placed within the top five teams for the Engineering Design event.
We wish them luck as they make their way to the state competition in April!
