On Friday, April 29, Mayor Wesley Smith of Wind Gap Borough visited the sixth-grade students for an assembly. 

Wesley is the fiancé of sixth-grade social studies teacher, Adrianna DiMarco. He began his term as Mayor of Wind Gap in January of 2022. Wesley spoke with students about how he became a mayor, what being a mayor is like, and how he is involved with the Wind Gap community. He prepared a slideshow and a game of Kahoot for students. Each student was also given a Wind Gap Borough pen. 

Students enjoyed hearing about Wesley's path to becoming a mayor and learning more about Ms. DiMarco's life outside of school as the First Lady of Wind Gap.
