On the first day of school, The Lower School met in the C.E. Auditorium for an opening assembly.

The excitement was palpable as students and teachers gathered all together for the first time in two years. Dr. Vanderbeck began by welcoming students, practicing 'showing five', and reviewing expectations for students during an assembly. Each teacher introduced themselves and shared a fun fact about themselves that included everything from driving race cars to loving to dance! Dr. Mahone closed the assembly by reading an inspiring story about the possibilities of Maybe by Kobi Yamada. Our students are ready for an amazing year!
