The AP Spanish class recently finished their unit on Personal Identity. During the unit students explored what defines the self through reading poetry and essays by Neruda, García Lorca, and other authors. Then, students wrote essays about what makes them who they are, which they then transposed to the shape of their very own thumbprints. The project hinges on the personal story, which is a longstanding Moravian tradition in the Lebenslauf, or life's journey. After a brief display in the language wing of Walter Hall, students will take their work home to their families.
