Upper School Students Fundraise for Additional Face Masks

July 29, 2020

Jason Jiang '21, Keith Lutostansky '21, Nader Rifai '21, and Jay Jiang '22 took initiative to ensure maximum safety for the Moravian Academy community, launching a fundraiser to purchase 15,000 additional face masks.

Update: The students are now only $856 away from meeting their goal (as of 8/11/2020). Consider supporting their cause with a gift to their fundraiser

While the Academy is already providing all students, faculty, and staff with face masks, these Upper School students saw an opportunity to give back by maximizing the resources available to their community. Their goal is to raise $5,000, and in less than a week, they have raised nearly $4,000 toward their goal.

If you are interested in supporting their efforts, please consider making a gift to the Masks for Moravian fundraiser via Gofundme.

Support Masks for Moravian with a GiftThe students write on their campaign platform: "We hope that our goal can be met and our donation can provide protection for the workforce, and prevent the spread of the virus in Pennsylvania, and inspire a sense of hope."

Thank you for your consideration.
