Virtual Slam Poetry Open Mic With S.C. Says

We are excited to announce a virtual slam poetry open mic exclusively for the Moravian Academy community with our host S.C. Says, an award-winning slam poet from Austin, TX.

The open mic will take place via Zoom during our last curioSity day on Wednesday, May 27 at 1:00 pm. All Moravian Academy Middle and Upper School students, families and teachers are invited to attend and even participate! 

Share your original work, read from a favorite poet, or just sit back and enjoy the show! Poems should be three minutes or less in duration.

More About S.C. Says

S.C. Says (Andre Bradford) started doing live performance at the age of 15 through his high school's theatre program. He went on to study acting at the USC School of Theatre and after he graduated moved to Austin, TX. There, in 2014, he found his voice through slam poetry. He has performed his poetry at schools, universities, and venues in 13 different states for thousands of people.
