We are excited to announce two upcoming virtual slam poetry writing workshops exclusively for Moravian Academy students and teachers. Our workshop host will be S.C. Says, an award-winning slam poet from Austin, TX.
Are you a poet and didn't even know it? Time to find out!
The workshops will take place via Zoom over the next two curioSity Days (S Days). Ideally, participants will attend both workshops to get the full experience, but have the option to attend a single workshop as well. We will have separate sessions for Middle and Upper School students. There will be an optional culminating open mic performance on Wednesday, May 27th. You DO NOT have to perform in the open mic to participate in the workshops. More details about the workshops.
Workshop Schedule
Workshop #1 Monday, May 4th (S Day)
Workshop #2 Thursday, May 14th (S Day)
Open Mic Performance Wednesday, May 27th (S Day)
