This week alumna Koula Sossiadis Kazista ’91 visited my filmmaking elective to talk about her new film, Epiphany, and to field questions from students about the writing and filmmaking process.
Students in the class are currently writing their own films in groups. Koula's guidance and advice about identifying the overall message of a film before diving into writing and production was extremely valuable.
We're thankful for her willingness to visit with us and share her expertise and wisdom!
If you have not had the chance to view the film, which has won several awards, there is an upcoming local screening at ArtsQuest's Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas on Sunday, March 29th at 7:00 pm. The film can also be purchased or rented on Amazon.
