We are five weeks from graduation for the Class of 2024. Given their achievement, scholarship, talent, and leadership, this will be a proud moment for Moravian Academy. They are an exceptional group of young people!
AP Exams will be administered May 6-16. Senior classes run through Tuesday, May 14 and a senior celebration will take place on campus during that final class day. Senior exams (non-AP) will take place May 15-17, with May 17 as the last day for seniors to turn in Semester 2 work. The junior/senior prom takes place on the evening of May 17 at the Hotel Bethlehem.
For two weeks, from May 20-30, seniors will be off campus working on their Senior Independent Post-Term Projects. Each senior should have proposed and had their project approved by post-term leaders Patti Davis and Dr. Rachel Engl at this point and be in communication with their off-campus post-term advisors.
Below are important events concerning graduation that seniors are required to attend on Friday, May 31:
Commencement exercises will be held on Saturday, June 1 at 10 a.m. in front of Snyder House on the Merle-Smith Campus. If the weather does not permit an outdoor ceremony, it will be held in the Athletic and Wellness Center (AWC). The Commencement exercises usually last approximately two hours. No tickets or reservations are required for Commencement. Light refreshments will be provided after the ceremony and water is available throughout.
On Commencement day, seniors must arrive by 9 a.m. to the Snyder Conference Room for ceremony preparations. We will continue to follow Moravian Academy’s dress requirements for Commencement: seniors will wear simple, white knee-length dresses or slacks, dress shirts, blazers, and ties.
