Our class read the book Martin's Big Words: The Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by Doreen Rappaport. We had a class discussion about the words he used and how they impacted our world, then created word clouds with words that came to mind during our lesson. Students expressed their thoughts and feelings about how Dr. King changed the world in video responses, which you can watch below.
