Downstairs Kindergarten can't wait to welcome baby chicks into the world, taking care to rotate the eggs in the incubator every day.
Fourth-grade teacher Sra. Matlack gave Kindergarteners 11 eggs to watch hatch. Every day for 21 days, a student takes a turn being the "hen" or "rooster" and carefully turns the eggs. Each egg is marked so that students know just how much they need to move. Pictured, Henry '33 does a great job being a rooster.
We're hoping to welcome baby chicks into the world next month. Check back soon for an update!
