Auction 2019: A Righteous Success
On behalf of Jeff Zemsky, our Head of School, thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Totally Awesome Action a righteous success.
The annual auction is Moravian Academy’s signature fundraising event and this year’s, our 37th, raised more than $170,000 thanks to the generosity of those that attended, donated auction items, gave support as sponsors or purchased ads, and of course, those that participated as bidders in the silent and live auctions. Your amazing support ensures our intellectually curious students continue to thrive in the classrooms, on the athletic fields, and on the stage.
If you were unable to attend, you can also still be a part of this year’s event by championing the Eco-Leadership Challenge fund, which provides support for Moravian students to learn how to become future leaders in natural resource management and sustainability. An event of this magnitude cannot happen without the vision, creativity, and countless hours of hard work put in by our Auction Committee under the dedicated leadership provided by our Auction Chair, Amy Bucher, Co-Chairs, Tania Marsh, Christine Mira, and Regina Carolan, Advancement Associate, Jessica McPherson, as well as Director of Physical Plant Operations, Dave Connors and the maintenance staff.
On behalf of the entire Moravian Academy community, I want to thank the Auction leadership team, volunteers, sponsors, and the night’s attendees for a memorable evening.
