On Friday our students in first through fifth grade were inspired by surrealist artist, Monica Salazar who is currently in residency at the Banana Factory. Monica shared about her amazing artwork and answer student questions during two afternoon sessions. One was held in Spanish for our SIP students and the other in English.
Seasons greetings from the apiary! Our bees had a bumper year in 2020 and as a result, we were able to harvest around 300 lbs of delicious wildflower honey. The honey will be available for sale through our online spirit store. This bounty of Moravian Gold will help us to continue to fund our apiary as well as other sustainability initiatives on our campuses.
