The American Literature class hosted the downstairs Kindergarten and went to the Swain Campus for collaborative SEL work and creative drama sessions using Carter Goodrich's book, Nobody Hugs A Cactus.
The English Department’s chief aims are: to expose students to literature from a variety of genres, cultures, and time periods; to encourage students to become active learners; to help students to become confident and adept writers; and, to assist students in the development of their skills in critical thinking, close reading, and verbal expression.
To conclude our reading of Mohsin Hamid's Exit West and our course's theme of "Borders and Belonging," the Global Literature class zoomed with Lauren Gerber '18MA this week.
