Celebrating 50 Days in School, 1950s-Style

November 12, 2020

On November 11, Moravian Academy marked its 50th day of in-person learning.

Kindergarten celebrated by dressing up like they were living in the '50s with their poodle skirts and t-bird shirts. They crafted records and learned about the time period. For snacks, they had Tootsie Rolls, Chex Mix, and root beer floats. There was a hula-hooping competition to see how well the Kindergarteners could spin. They then took the records and their Chex Mix and tried to guess how many pieces it would take to fill the perimeter of the record. A great day was had by all, and you can see the smiles shining through their masks!
