Keeping It Cool in Virtual School
Fun and creativity at the Lower School isn't confined to the classroom. Virtual learning presents opportunities for hands-on projects while technology like Zoom and SeeSaw keep our community connected. Catch a glimpse of highlights from virtual school from January 4 through January 8, 2021.
Primer literally kept it cool with a melting ice science experiment that could be performed in the kitchen.
PreK had a dino-mite time learning about dinosaurs! Here, Sophie shows us that she can fit inside the footprint of a T-rex for Mrs. Hummel's class.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Haines's PreK learners created some dinosaurs of their own to share with the class.
Mrs. Andriko's Second Grade were storytellers for scratch-and-write activity. We can't wait to hear Serena '31's story about a doctor and an owl who are feeling angry!
SIP First Graders also flexed their creative muscles with writing and drawing activities. Great job, Emilia '32!
That's a wrap on the first week of classes in 2021! We look forward to learning in-person on Monday, January 11.
