A Wonderful Fall Weekend: 5K Fun Run, Country Fair & Reunion 2019
It was a truly wonderful weekend to be a Moravian Academy lion! Hundreds of current families and alumni gathered at reunion events, the 5K Fun Run, and the Country Fair. Beautiful weather energized community leaders in every facet of the school, making every event special for the participants.
The Country Fair committee, Parents' Association leaders and additional parent volunteers were phenomenal! Thanks to their collaborative, enthusiastic participation, students enjoyed games, rides, class booths, food, and prizes.
The Advancement Office team hosted multiple reunion events including a Friday evening alumni social on the Athletic and Wellness Center patio, an alumni luncheon recognizing distinguished alum and Barnaby Roberts recipients, a brick dedication outside Snyder House, tours, and reunion class dinners and receptions Saturday evening.
Moravian's maintenance team made our grounds ready for action. Tables, tents, sports fields, and gathering spots were well prepared and comfortable for all to enjoy. We appreciate their hard work.
Athletic coaches and music teachers brought students to the spotlight on fields and stages to entertain and wow the audiences. Congratulations to all of our student participants, including string players, Spanish singers and our three Upper School sports teams who brought home consequential victories on the field hockey and soccer fields.
