We recognized our Middle School students through an Achievement Awards Assembly on Tuesday, June 4th. Congratulations to our student awardees and to all students who rose to meet many challenges throughout the 2018-2019 school year.

Golden Paintbrush Awards

This award is given annually to students in each grade who demonstrate academic rigor, quality of work and utilize superior crafting skills.

Gonda Awards

Given to an eighth-grade boy and girl on the soccer teams who best combine athletic ability with good spirit, good team play, good sportsmanship, and scholarship. The award is given in memory of Michael Gonda who was an Academy alumnus and was a teacher in the Middle School.

Given to honor eighth-grade students who achieve a ninety-five percent average for each trimester throughout their time in the Middle School.

Citizenship Awards

Given to an eighth-grade student(s) who exemplifies the qualities we label as a decent human being. Involvement with the student body, the school, and the community is expected.

Given to honor an eighth-grade student(s) who exemplifies excellence in academic achievement and leadership in the Middle School. This person exhibits consistent superior scholarship, expresses curiosity in class, works beyond that which is required yet is able to balance these achievements with an interest in classmates and a concern for the school and community at large.
