As part of the ninth grade history unit on agriculture, students recently enjoyed a visit to our very own Moravian Academy apiary!

All ninth-graders had the opportunity to put on protective beekeeper suits and enter the hive with Mrs. Burd to investigate bee behavior. Students learned about the difference between spring and fall honey, and tasted some of MA's very own Red and Gold honey!
