Our Swain School eighth grade historians are studying Labor & Society in the early 1900's. To enhance their understanding of work life during this time, they created and operated two different greeting card factories.
In my 6th-grade social studies class, students are learning about ancient China.
In the beginning of January, one section of 10th-grade history students researched the social, political and environmental impact of a commodity that was traded in the 15th-19th centuries.
