On Tuesday, December 5, the Nature & Landscape Photography Elective at the HDC Middle School had the opportunity to visit the Seasons Olive Oil and Vinegar taproom and store on Main Street in downtown Bethlehem.
The wife and husband team of Soraya Aguilar and Tim Balshi (parents of Ana '24 and Chloe '29) are the proprietors, and Ms. Aguilar gave us a warm reception. She not only offered the chance to take photographs but also the opportunity to taste test any of their products. The students devoted themselves to trying many different photography techniques to simulate creating marketing images for a business.
They were encouraged to think about what would catch their attention as customers and how they would sell their own business products through photographs.
