Swain Campus Art Show Opening and VIP Day: May 11 & 12, 2023
Join us on the Swain Campus for two special events in May that showcase our school and our amazing arts programs!
ART SHOW OPENING: May 11 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Swain’s legendary art show will be on display and families can get a preview before VIP day. This year’s show will include work from all grades that were created in either our Art or Engineering & Design classes.
VIP DAY: May 12 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The Swain Campus welcomes our Very Important People to our annual VIP Day celebration on Friday, May 12, 2023. While on campus, our special guests will have the opportunity to engage in grade-level projects or presentations, visit the Art Show, and enjoy spring musical performances.
- 8:00 a.m. Check in for VIPs at either the Main Entrance or the McCann Center entrance
- 8:30 a.m. Music performance by grades Preschool - 3rd grade in the McCann Center
- 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. Grade level projects (PS - 3rd)
- 9:45 a.m. 8th grade performance of Romeo & Juliet in the McCann Center
- 10:15 - 10:55 a.m. Grade level projects (4th - 7th)
- 11:00 a.m. Music performance by grades 4th - 8th in the McCann Center
- 12:30 p.m. Early Dismissal (no lunch served)
Students in K - 8th grade will wear their special dress uniforms; they can accessorize within the with 1920’s jazz theme. Many students will also have costumes for performances or presentations. Classroom teachers or Mrs. Bermudez will share this specific dress information with you directly.
A VIP is any "very important person" in a student's life. That could be a parent, sibling, grandparent, aunt/uncle, guardian, other family members, etc. There is no maximum number of VIPs that can attend, however, we ask that families all RSVP so we can plan for seating and spaces accordingly.
Extended care will be available until 1:00 PM. Regular rates apply. Please complete THIS FORM if you will need extended care on this day.
