Upper School Apiary Harvests 300 Lbs of Honey

Hello, MA Honeybee Enthusiasts! On May 2, Moravian Academy purchased two packages of bees and installed them in our Upper School apiary. Over the summer, our busy winged friends were hard at work creating our favorite golden treat at the Upper School Apiary. In fact, in 2020 we harvested over 300 lbs of honey!

Un Paseo de Colores

Jardín de Infancia took un paseo de colores (a color walk) to see how many colors they could spot in the park. It was on our 10th day of school so we were excited to explore. We were able to go for a walk around the library and look for all different colors in nature. We practiced speaking Spanish and using the colors of the rainbow. From rojo to naranja, amarillo, verde, y azul. We look forward to continuing to explore and learn more Spanish words.

During her time as a Girl Security scholar, Olivia Wee '21 presented her essay "A Young American's Answer to What Ails America" at a virtual event with Dr. Fiona Hill, Senior Fellow with the Center on the United States and Europe at The Brookings Institution, and Mark. P. Harvey, Spring 2020 Resident Fellow with the Harvard Institute of Politics.
