Eighth grade chemists on the Swain Campus are learning about the properties of elements and organization of the periodic table.

During science lab, students tested physical properties such as malleability, electrical conductivity, and luster. Chemical properties were tested for reactivity in acid and salt solutions. Elements were then classified as metals, semi-metals, or nonmetals.
