Let's Race at the Moravian Academy Duck Dash

We are so excited to host our first ever Moravian Academy Duck Dash on Saturday, February 20, 2021.  The Duck Dash is a rubber duck race that will take place at a beautiful local stream and be live-streamed for the entire Moravian Academy community to view.  Limited in-person attendance will be reserved for staff, volunteers, and their families coordinating the event. 
Athletics Update: January 15, 2021

Our Upper School athletic teams are looking forward to starting their competitive seasons this weekend.  Today, January 15, 2021, the varsity boys’ and girls’ swim teams will get us started as they compete in a virtual swim meet vs. Nazareth at 4 PM.  Our varsity girls’ basketball team will travel to Pen Argyl for their first game of the year.  Tip-off is set for 6:45 PM.
SIP Hops on the Rhythm Train

Using the Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper as inspiration, Second Grade has been "training" their rhythm skills by creating rhythm trains.  Each student was encouraged to create their own train composition using the Rhythmic Building Bricks.  Here is Señora Vanegas's class sharing their compositions through performance.  Enjoy!

Students Contribute to Spotted Lanternfly Zones of Syncopation Art Project

With the help of many students, we completed the Moravian Academy section of the Spotted Lanternfly Zones of Syncopation art project.  Organized through Penn State Lehigh Valley, this project is the brainchild of artist Elsabé Johnson Dixon and involves many groups throughout the area.
