What we're curious about
As a school, we are committed to creating and sustaining a comprehensive, coordinated effort to support the overall safety and well-being of our students and the entire Moravian Academy community. MA has long been known for strong student-teacher relationships and this remains the cornerstone of student wellness. Student support teams complement this with strategic responses to specific student needs.
The 2019-2020 school year marks the second academic year of Pennsylvania’s “Safe2Say Something” (S2SS) reporting system. Monday’s Middle School advisory circle activities will focus on empowering students to make contributions to the physical and emotional safety of our community by being upstanders, not bystanders.
The beginning of an academic year brings excitement, a fresh start, and aspirations to develop new habits, relationships, and other goals for personal betterment. As faculty and students settle into the new school year, the division level Student Support Teams (SSTs) are hard at work helping guide the transition for new and returning students. The SSTs are also a resource to parents and adults who care for our students outside of school.
