After learning Spanish greetings, and how to talk about themselves in a basic manner, Spanish one students participated in skits that they themselves created, wrote, and then performed in front of class.
Students learned to make arepas from Venezuela/Colombia in the Latin American Food class. After a demonstration, they made their own.
Spanish teacher, Gonzalo del Real has been chosen to present at the AATSP National Conference (American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese).
