Class of 2023 Follows Clever Clues on Merle-Smith Campus

October 22, 2020

On Tuesday, October 20, the Class of 2023 held a scavenger hunt, which encouraged students to explore the Merle-Smith Campus.

The clues were created by the sophomore class Co-Presidents Elena Tongg Weiler '23 and Eli Zemsky '23 and included hints like: “The rosiest spot on campus, with a fountain to boast!” or to “Find the biggest M on campus.” The sophomores enjoyed being outside with their advisory groups and taking pictures at each spot on campus.

Congratulations to Dr. Lawlis’s advisory group for finding all 11 clues and being the first team to submit their photos! Thank you to all advisory groups that participated.

Clues:

Take a picture of your advisory with the Bengina at each location.

- "To be, rather than to seem"

- I’m like a coop though I’ve got rackets not birds

- Class time breaks and lunchtime waste all take trips back here; Benigna admires the musical boat the school has stored back here

- After recycling’s been counted, you will hear my ring

- The Biggest M on campus

- A fire hydrant, but which one?

- Doubles teams discard their trash in me

- The rosiest spot on campus, with a fountain to boast!
