Rohan Mehta '23 and Yan Yu '23 are competing in the Conrad Challenge, "a purpose driven innovation competition that is creating the next generation of entrepreneurs who will change the world!" 

The sophomores are developing a senior-citizen focused social media site: A Platform for Senior Assistance, Guidance, and Engagement (S.A.G.E). The site is aimed at connecting senior citizens with each other to combat social isolation, which is extremely prevalent now in the pandemic landscape, thereby improving the quality of life for older populations.

By participating in the Conrad Challenge, Rohan and Yan hope to develop S.A.G.E and launch it as a usable service. The winning teams of the Challenge receive scholarships and opportunities to turn their concepts into real products and businesses.

I'm excited to report that their project made it through Round 1 of the competition, but they are in need of $500 plus registration fees to participate in the second round.
