Fifth Grade Experiences Middle School

January 16, 2020

This week, we were fortunate to have our current fifth-grade students shadow students at the Middle School.

Our sixth-grade students graciously hosted and did a great job as ambassadors welcoming and sharing their student experiences. The fifth graders were excited to see some familiar faces and also meet some new students they haven't met before.

This was the second half-day visit for this school year and a great way for our current students to get a taste of what's to come next year.  Some highlights of the visit included cutting clay in art class, science class with sixth-grade teacher Mrs. Michelle Leyesa, and of course, the addition of chocolate milk in the cafeteria!

We are looking forward to seeing our rising sixth-grade parents at our Middle School Transition Information Night next Wednesday, January 22nd. Be sure to RSVP for what will be an informative night about the enrichment, personal learning, and independent research opportunities available at our Middle School.
