Students in sixth grade are using our brand new computers to begin their piano studies. 

Every middle school student focuses a portion of their trimester-long music class on piano playing.  No matter what previous experience they've had, each student begins at a level where they can be challenged and successful. 

Not only is piano playing a hands-on, immersive activity in class, but it has also been shown to improve memory, expand aural skills, sharpen concentration and focus, and decrease stress and anxiety.  At the end of the trimester, students share what they've accomplished by playing a favorite piece for their classmates.
