Influential Persons Become Focus of Algebra 2 Projects

March 23, 2020

Prior to spring break, eighth-graders in my Algebra 2 class designed a learning activity for their peers that both demonstrated mastery, artistic talent, and highlighted facts about an influential person.

The project assessed the students' knowledge of radical equations and operations with complex numbers.

Can you solve the questions presented by our students to find out more information about known figures? Take on the challenge with these three student sample projects:

Emma Watson by Ginny Toso '24

J.R.R. Tolkien by  Chessi Bartolacci '24

Bob Ross by Emma Derby '24
