MA Holiday Card & Vespers Program Submissions Due November 7, 2022
Calling all student artists! We're once again looking for submissions from all campuses for the 2022 holiday card! Downtown and Merle-Smith students may also submit their art for consideration to be the cover of the 2022 Vespers program.
Vespers Program Guidelines
We are looking for submissions for the 2022 Vespers program. We will be selecting two pieces of artwork, one for the Lower School program created by a Lower School Student and one for the Middle and Upper School program, submitted by a Middle or Upper School student.
The artwork will be printed 5x7, designed vertically, and have a Vespers theme. It can be in color.
Please submit card designs to your campus art teacher in person or scan them in high resolution and submit them via email.
Holiday Card Guidelines
This year we will be choosing our holiday card design from entries created by students on all three campuses.* Our judges will choose the artwork they feel best expresses how our diverse Moravian Academy family enjoys the holiday season.
*This is totally voluntary, but if you would like a chance to have your artwork professionally printed and distributed to our Moravian Academy community, this is your opportunity!
Directions: Design a bright, joyful image that celebrates diversity and considers everyone’s traditions.
Artistic Medium: Color pencil, marker, paint, pastel on paper cardboard or canvas, collage, or digital drawing. Any 2D medium will be accepted.
Above are examples of past winning and submitted holiday card and Vespers program cover designs. Note that they are not specific to any one religion and connect with a variety of themes in nature, our school community values, and the spirit of the season.
