Mr. Regnet Presents 'Digital Well-being' at Family Association Meeting
Mr. Michael Regnet, Assistant Technology Coordinator on the Merle-Smith Campus and science teacher, presented at the Merle-Smith Campus Family Association Meeting this week on "Digital Well-being"
Mr. Regnet went over statistics about who is using social media, how they affect our well being, tools to combat negative effects, and signs of addiction. Not only did Mr. Regnet share some ways to work with your child to build healthy habits around the use of devices, but he shared personal experiences about how he handles the use of technology with his own family. Be sure to watch the accompanying video of the presentation for useful tools for parents to use with their children to identify issues and maintain a healthy social media presence.
Mr. Regnet presented multiple times to the Upper School student body on these topics and he’ll continue to spread awareness around this ever changing subject matter.
Please reference the PowerPoint and video for the full presentation.
