Our team of talented clinicians serves our diverse community of learners through social and emotional learning and character education lessons, individual support, collaborative partnerships, and campus-wide initiatives. Our goal is to equip students with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of life with confidence and poise.
Hear more from our exceptional team of school counselors on February 7, 2024, at 7:00 PM during their MA Community Education Series presentation: Mental Health and Wellness.
Meet the Counseling Team
Jacquelyn Economopoulos, M.Ed., LPC

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Messiah University and completed my master's degree in Counseling through Lehigh University. I hold a license in Professional Counseling, and I have worked extensively with children and adolescents in community mental health, family-based, private practice, and school-based mental health settings.
David Hunt, Psy.D.
I am thrilled to join the school counseling team at Moravian Academy! I have the pleasure of serving students at the Historic Downtown Campus. My undergraduate studies took place at Saint Louis University and Holy Cross (Notre Dame, IN). I completed my master's and doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I've completed fellowships in clinical neuropsychology and psychoanalysis. My professional journey includes diverse settings, from college counseling and in-patient hospitals to outpatient clinics and the Archdiocese of Chicago. Most recently, I contributed to a dynamic group private practice in Chicago, specializing in neuropsychology assessment and individual, group, family, and couples therapy. Beyond this, I've overseen 6-8 social skills groups, conducted school district threat/risk assessments, and provided school advocacy services.
Lindsay Lee, LCSW
I am Lindsay Lee, the school counselor at the Merle-Smith Campus of Moravian Academy. Originally from Philadelphia, I earned my degrees from Sarah Lawrence College, Trinity College (Dublin), and a graduate degree from Tulane University. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Before joining Moravian Academy, I served as the Project Manager for the Restorative Justice Partnership in Denver, focusing on racial justice in education. My roots as a school social worker in New Orleans led me to direct Military and Restorative Programs with Project Fleur-de-lis. My passion lies in creating a supportive environment for students, fostering personal growth, and community care. I emphasize collaboration, mutual respect, and shared responsibility, valuing the home/school partnership for its inclusive decision-making. As a dedicated professional, I enrich Moravian Academy with my expertise in mental health and restorative justice practices, contributing to positive change in education and overall student well-being.
