Thirty-eight Upper School students spent months researching, preparing and collaborating only to dress in business attire and compete in the 70th Annual State DECA Career Development Conference. Remote project presentations, role-plays, cluster exams, and interviews filled virtual competition airwaves culminating in a first-ever virtual conference and award ceremony on February 19. The conference boasted over 3,000 participants and 62 competitive events this year.
The Story Class' collaboration with the Lower School was a little different this year. Conducted all on Zoom, the sessions had Story students being paired with Downstairs Kindergarteners and, in each session, we worked together to create a story.
Great performance last weekend from Alexa Fegley '22 for her repeat as a District Champion on the diving board. Alexa will next compete in the PIAA State Diving Championship on March 13 at Cumberland Valley High School. Congratulations and good luck to Alexa!
