Rhea Malhotra '20 Wins Big At Intel International Science Fair
After winning a gold medal at the Delaware Valley Science Fair (DVSF), Rhea Malhotra ’20 spent a week in Pittsburgh attending Intel’s International Science & Engineering Fair 2018 in May.

Best of Category- Biochemistry ($10,000 scholarship, $1,000 to Moravian Academy, $1,000 to DVSF);

the Experiential Award for the European Union Contest for Young Scientists (all-expense-paid trip to Ireland); and
-
the naming of a minor planet in her honor by Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) of MIT Lincoln Laboratories.
Rhea was one of only two Lehigh Valley high schoolers to shine at the fair, as highlighted in this Morning Call article. The fair featured 1,800 young scientists from more than 80 countries competing for grand awards.
