After having read and analyzed selected works written by Edgar Allan Poe, students solved an in-class mystery that included and involved the characters and circumstances from Poe's short stories and poems. Once all evidence was gathered and case files completed, students were put into teams to prove their cases and prosecute the suspects. They had a great time playing detective and presenting their cases for the judge and jury!
