String Players Grace the Foy Hall Stage

May 16, 2019

Magical sounds of strings filled Moravian College’s Foy Hall on Wednesday, May 15th. Lower School students rose to the occasion under the direction of Mrs. Wetzel and Ms. Chase Morrison. Students kindergarten through grade five played violins, cellos, and violas, harmonizing in ways that wowed the audience.

In Suzuki fashion, the program featured the most challenging pieces first, and students joined the ensemble as their abilities matched the challenge. Ending with several versions of Twinkle, even our first-year parents took the stage and performed beautifully.

Additional thanks to pianist Mrs. Fix and guest artists Dr. Fanning and Dr. Wetzel for their participation in this tremendous evening of music.
