Madame Sanborn’s AP French class recently studied declarations of love. First they read and viewed the famous balcony scene from Cyrano de Bergerac. Then, they viewed a declaration of love to France, which was the winning oration in the 2019 contest of eloquence “Le Grand Oral.” Finally, the students were charged with creating their own declaration of love. The catch? It could not be written for a person. Enjoy!
As we welcome warmer weather and more in-person students, and as we enter the home stretch to exams and final projects, we've been making a point to get up and get moving, all while reviewing the high-frequency vocabulary and structures we've been acquiring since September.
