Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the opioid crisis had been the nation’s largest public health emergency. However, the opioid crisis has not disappeared, and has only been exacerbated by these current circumstances.
With “CurioSity Day” replacing traditional “S” days in our Virtual School Schedule, dedicated time has been created for students in the Class of 2023 to complete FIRE Spring-semester Independent Projects.
Combining Upper School English, history, and science (biology) curricula, our Freshman Interdisciplinary Research Experience (FIRE) program incorporates shared content and skills-based instruction across the three departments throughout freshman year.
