What we're curious about
Twenty-six students from the Middle School and 16 students from the Upper School presented research projects at the PJAS (Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science) – Region 3 competition held at Northampton Community College on Saturday, February 23rd. Student presentation topics included math, computer science, engineering, biochemistry, botany, chemistry, microbiology, physics and behavioral science.
Every Thursday evening from 6 to 7 pm, after NPR‘s “All Things Considered,” WDIY 88.1 Lehigh Valley Public Radio airs “Lehigh Valley Discourse,” a “provocative, informative and newsworthy [show that] brings you the people and the issues that move and shape our region.”
Students in Grades 1-5 enjoy First In Math every day. This in-school or at-home accessed math program challenges students to work in content areas that reinforce, remediate and extend math skills. Students gain individual points for their efforts and work collaboratively toward winning the 24-Tuesday Trophy. After a successful 2018, students continue to engage in math madness 2019!
