On Saturday, March 28th, join us for our second student-led Symposium on Sustainability hosted by Moravian Academy’s Environmental Club for schools around the Lehigh Valley. Come to discuss, collaborate and work to solve our sustainability challenges!
Did you know that Crayola will accept any brand or type of marker (dry erase, washable, etc.) and repurpose them? Last year, the Lower School launched a marker recycling program in celebration of Earth Day through the Crayola ColorCycle initiative. Students collected and repurposed over 500 markers last spring.
A large contingency of students from Liberty High School, Lincoln Leadership Academy, and Moravian Academy collaborated in the Lehigh Valley’s first-ever Sustainability Symposium for Students on Saturday, March 30th. A keynote address was offered by Lehigh University sophomore Julie Goldberg, who spoke to the group about her own path as an environmental activist.
