Fifth grade students on the Swain Campus gathered with their families to share their personal narratives during a luncheon in Roger's Common. Lunch was provided by our kitchen staff and featured various Asian dishes that students were familiar with from our Asian studies curriculum.
On Harvest Feast Day, the Community Service Elective partnered with the non-profit, Joyful Giving to create a fun buddy filled community service project called, "A Day of Joyful Giving". Students teamed up with their buddy to become Joy Makers by assembling 1,000 Joy Maker bags!!
Middle School students are working on Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science, PJAS, microbiology projects. Projects include testing facial cleaners, surface cleaners, sanitizers with varying % of alcohol, and natural antibiotics on bacterial growth.
