Upper School Club Creates Virtual Activity Center
Students in our Upper School’s Special Needs Awareness Club (SNAC, formerly called Moravian Angels) recently brainstormed ways they could partake in community outreach during the COVID-19 pandemic and virtual school experience.
After gaining insights from local families, SNAC members decided to create a virtual activity center. SNAC student leader Emma Gross '21 describes the activity center as a “one stop shop website” with an array of free resources parents/caregivers can pull from as their children are engaging in school and spending more time within the confines of their homes.
Crafts, yoga and mindfulness, and science are a sampling of the activity categories included. Members plan to post additional activities overtime with community input.
